Since the second half of 2006, CNIC has registered a consistent rise in demand for its services from clients not just in the domain of regular ship repair but more especially, for life extension or upgrades of major oil rigs, construction of offshore oil production units and even of vessels as in the case of on-going ship construction works on SAIPEM TAD.

Such a sustained demand which further consolidates CNIC position as a leading partner for the Central and West African offshore oil industry has as direct corollary the urgent need to strengthen the company’s workforce and technical capabilities in its labour-intensive sector of activity.

Within this framework, Management conducted a recruitment exercise in March 2007 and the current pre-employment internship (following communiqués in several leading national newspapers) is a further step to meet actual manpower needs in specialities such as welding, sheet metal works, pipe fitting, surface treatment, mechanical engineering etc. It is important to underscore that suitably qualified Cameroonians currently living in or out of the country are fully eligible and encouraged to apply. Here below is a communiqué recently published by the General Manager – CNIC.
