OVERVIEW
The Cameroon Shipyard and Industrial Engineering Ltd. (CNIC) is currently located within the zone of the Douala port enabling prompt services to its clientele.
However, in a bid to provide quality services to our clients in the rapidly expanding offshore petroleum activity in the Gulf of Guinea , CNIC is developing a vast facility in Limbe on the Atlantic shoreline, less than one hour's drive from the main commercial city of Douala on a good asphalt road.
The Limbe site has several natural and professional advantages including:
- A deep draft (>14m CD);

- Clear water for inspection;
- Expanses of available land for further expansion.
OBJECTIVES
The primary objective of the Limbe Shipyard project is to enable CNIC to consolidate and diversify its activities in:
- Rig repair/conversion;
- Ship repair (to Suezmax capacity);
- Industrial engineering services;
- Offshore logistics services.
The Limbe Shipyard will offer a modern and sophisticated complex from where devoted CNIC specialists will provide avant-garde services to our clients in Cameroon and the Gulf of Guinea.
