CNIC Executes CIMENCAM Industrial Project

Cameroon’s sole cement manufacturing company - CIMENCAM - now has a modern and operational conveyor unit that was conceived and entirely constructed by a team of CNIC professionals. This conveyor unit which will significantly boost the production capabilities of the beneficiary company was constructed over a distance of over 500metres.

Works on this industrial facility absorbed a workforce of over 100 technicians and engineers in several specialties and lasted more than two months from 8^th February through 25^th April 2007.

In the same light, its construction saw the utilization of over 110 tonnes of steel, more than 100tonnes of concrete as well as the laying and installation of some 1km of piping. At the end of the works, the experimental tests conducted left both parties satisfied with the functional performance of the industrial unit with CIMENCAM officials expressing delight over the quality of the job and a major benefit – a marked improvement in their production deadlines.
