CNIC HONOURED FOR ESTABLISHING SAFETY RECORD AND OPERATIONS INTEGRITY PERFORMANCES.

The Cameroon Oil Transportation Company (COTCO) paid tribute on 15t h March 2007 to CNIC for establishing a new safety record totalling four years without any Lost Time Incident (LTI).

This record covering the period from 7 January 2003 through 6 January 2007 falls within the framework of an overall assessment of Safety performances conducted by COTCO for enterprises that have partnered with them on technical operations over the years.

While CNIC officials attending the award ceremony were still savouring the new distinction, they were again called up for yet another award.

This time the company was conferred the distinction of overall”Best Performer in terms ofoperations Integrity”, whose value is better illustrated in consideration of the high number of enterprises that work with COTCO on several operations or fields.

In a reaction after receiving the double award, CNIC’s QSHE Manager commended COTCO’s Management for the initiative and said CNIC considered it a special honour to receive two distinctions at the same time in different categories which come to emphasize the company ‘s commitment to Safety and Quality in all operations.
