An audit mission commissionned by the African Development Bank(ADB) recently worked with officials and competent services of the Cameroon Shipyard and Industrial Engineering Ltd. (CNIC) at its Head office in Douala.

The special audit mission accomplished by AKINOLA AKINTUNDE & Co. audit firm from Nigeria ran from the 19 through 26 May 2006.

This audit aims specifically at reviewing the stipulated contribution of the Cameroon Shipyard and Industrial Engineering Ltd. towards the funding of the Limbe Shipyard Project. It is relevant to indicate that the African Development Bank is the lead funding institution of the Project whose industrial component is currently under execution.
