9th - September - 2005 58th Session of Board of Directors Meeting held in Limbe.

While the Cameroon Shipyard and Industrial Engineering Plc continues to operate from its facilities in Douala and Limbe, it is this Atlantic seaside resort town that was chosen to host the ordinary Board of Directors meeting that held at the premises of First International Hotel on Friday, 9 th September 2005.

Although the town of Limbe is reputed for its natural touristic attractions, the choice of venue for this recent session of the Board of Directors (BOD) cannot be attributed to coincidence or the simple desire to promote tourism.

At a time when construction work is very advanced on the breakwater component of the Limbe Shipyard Project, the holding of the meeting in Limbe was a magnificent opportunity for the Company Administrators to have physical contact and a concrete view of the project.

Mr. Z.M. FORJINDAM, the General Manager of CNIC, conducted the Chairman of the Board - Mr. Louis Claude NYASSA - and the other Administrators to the project site. Received upon arrival by the Project Manager - Mr. MEIJE De Boer, the Director of the Task Force and a team of project Engineers, the Administrators visited the 210 metre long x 11 metre deep breakwater embankment.
