Construction Work Completed on PERENCO Gabon TRIPOD

Perenco Gabon’s offshore unit “TRIPOD” whose construction, commenced on 12 th February 2007 at the CNIC/UIC industrial base has now been moved to its offshore location in the Gulf of Guinea area after completion.

The construction works covering the first and second phases of the entire process entailed the prefabrication and fitting of supporting piles for the 30” Tubular structure (TRIPOD). The transportation of this offshore unit to its work site, on Thursday, 7 th June 2007, constituted the final phase which witnessed its loading unto CNIC’s multi-purpose jack-up crane barge “Jup 111” which also play a vital role for the installation of the oil equipment.
