After the award of contracts in September 2005 for Lots 2 and 3 of the Limbe Shipyard Project, the Cameroon Shipyard and Industrial Engineering Ltd has launched an open international tender for the construction of a workshop and office buildings under Lot 4b of the industrial component.

It is relevant to indicate that another open tender(national) is imminent as part of the industrial component of the Project which is divided into six lots. The level of execution of works on the already awarded lots is presented in the Project status.

Subject : Extension of deadline for submission of bids

The General Manager of the Cameroon Shipyard and Industrial Engineering Ltd (CNIC) hereby informs Bidders tendering for the execution of the Project advertised under Lot 4b (International invitation to tender for the Construction of a Workshop and Office Buildings) that in accordance with clauses 10 and 21 of Instructions to Bidders and upon due clearance from the "Special Tenders Board", the deadline for the submission of bids has been extended from 20th July 2006 to 12th August 2006 at the same address and time.

Consequently, written requests for tender documents clarification, where need be, shall be entertained and remain acceptable till Friday, 14 July 2006. All other information concerning this invitation to tender remains valid and unaltered.
