22nd - August - 2003 Technical Committee of the Limbe Shipyard Project, presided by Dr. MOUMBAIN MATAPIT of Prime Minister's office, meets with local administration of Fako, elites and opinion leaders of Limbe.

The Technical Committee of the Limbe Shipyard Project met under Dr. MOUMBAIN MATAPIT to work at issues affecting the development of the shipyard. Participants included representatives of various concerned administrations.

Committee meeting participants pledged to do utmost to ensure start of construction works on site in December 2003.

The aim of this meeting was to draw attention of the need for the local population to free-up the future site of the shipyard. Other important issues raised included job opportunities at the future shipyard, local business opportunities and the eventual transfer of the Limbola graveyard to the new resettlement site.
