It has been a very busy week for the management of CNIC. A few hours after the departure of the Founder and CEO of OCEA Group, the Interim General Manager of CNIC, Mr. WEBNJOH Abel, received representatives of SMIT LAMNALCO and EIFFAGE concurrently in the Conference Room of the Directorate General.
While SMIT LAMNALCO officials, made up of Mr. Pancho Butenhuis, Mr. Stefem CREKAKOV and Mr. Lionel Bateki, were coming less than a week after their QHSE officials' fact-finding mission, Eiffage's Mr. Gabriel BESSES was visiting for the first time.
The two entities are interested in the equipment pool of CNIC as well as its technical capabilities. Both wanted to know how certified CNIC's equipment were.
CNIC's response was simple: "After a long period of inactivity, we are coming back to business. What you see on the field can be upgraded and made functional. We are here to assure you that CNIC's quest for quality and utmost customer satisfaction has not changed," Mr. WEBNJOH told his potential clients.
The visitors were taken round all the CNIC sites in Douala, notably Berth 17, UIC and the workshops. Expectations remain high as customers and potential partners continue to indicate interest in doing business with CNIC.
